When in China...

We visited the Pearl Market this morning and following tradition, bought a strand of pearls to give baby girl on her wedding day. I don't know if jet lag can last this long but today I feel like I did in Beijing, about two feet above my body. That's the only way I can explain it. You know how your mouth feels when you get novacaine? Like you know your mouth is there but it isn't. That's how my head/brain feels. We shopped around this market. I had to buy Ai-Le some tights and long sleeves so I found this cute, very Ch*nesey type kids store. The clothes are so different almost like a Ch*nese Matilda Jane. I bought her some funky pants and for some for friends as well. The Ch*nese definitely have a unique and very hip style. We ate at McDs and then taxi'd back to the hotel for the usual bath and nap.  Oh yeh. I bought her some sandals at the kids store. She had to wear them out of the store! Then she reached for me and I carried her around! If I knew all it took was a new pair of cheesey shoes I would have bought some a week ago. Speaking of-it's hard to believe it's already been a week AND it's hard to believe it's ONLY been a week. She has been ok with me all day for the most part. She let me bathe her and dress her. I'm still afraid to look at her too much in case she changes her mind. She truly makes the funniest faces. All these different expressions. Too Cute! Tonight we are going on a dinner cruise on the Pearl River.
